Born 1958, studied guitar and composition at the MHS (music high school) Cologne, department Wuppertal, is teacher and director of the "Radevormwalder Musikschule e.V." (music school of Radevormwald), guest lecturer at the "Akademie Remscheid" and at the MHS (music high school) Cologne, department Wuppertal.
Regular appearances as soloist or as member of different jazz ensembles escort the guitarists way since a long time and show him as interpreter of classical and impromtu music.
His compositions consist mainly of various guitar works, but also of orchestra and chamber music works. A main focus lies on the extensive jazz and jazz related pieces for ensembles.
Beside various records and CDs he published a lot of pieces for guitar at the publisher "Hubertus Nogatz", Essen. |
